Bragging About My Soon-To-Be Famous Friend

This post is 100% off-topic – no stories about Libby Doodle Doo or Little Zo Peep. But today is a very special day for a friend of mine.

This story is about my friend Gwyn Cready – wife, mother, and brilliant businessperson-- whose first novel – Tumbling Through Time – is being released today January 29th.

Over 10 years ago, Gwyn set a goal to write and publish a novel. Now lots of people would like to write the Great American Novel. Some people even slave away for years and eventually deposit their manuscripts into a desk drawer. Gwyn not only wrote a novel, she found an agent to represent her and then – after Gwyn completed her second novel – that agent brokered a contract with Pocketbooks who offered Gwyn a 2 book deal.

Gwyn is as smart as they come, a voracious reader, a wry observer of human folly, an earthy, sexy gal and a wonderful storyteller. No wonder her first novel is brilliant, funny, jammed packed with literary allusions, romantic and sexy.

Hey, the woman writes Chick Lit – how could I not love this book & its author.

I know she’s going to hit it big. Real Simple magazine plans to do a feature on her for their April issue. I asked her to let me become her Marketing Manager when she becomes famous.
