The Question May Change But The Answer Remains the Same

To all you folks out there awaiting your referral, I want to share a phenomena that I've noticed in the last couple days.

In the last 2 years I've had about a jillion people ask me, "When is your adoption going to happen?"

My standard answer was, "I really don't know."

So when I got my referral on Wednesday, I thought about how I don't have to answer those questions anymore.

Guess what?

As soon as I show folks Libby Doodle Doo's pictures and talk about my referral, they all pause for a second and then say, "So when do you go and pick her up?"

My reply -- "I really don't know."

Oh Well.
