Toy Story

Libby Doodle Doo got the cutest little wooden toy for Christmas. It's a little wooden penguin who (after a little tap on his back) walks down an incline making a nice clacking sound all the way.

This toy was made in the Czech Republic and comes from a company called Petra Toys. I went on to their website
http://www.petratoysusa.com/ and looked at what else they have available. I love wooden toys. They feel like something my kids would enjoy and would be able to pass down to their own kids some day.

I have some very old Fisher Price wooden toys from my babyhood that I just love. I noted a few favorites among the Petra Toys and am thinking of doing a little shopping to get Libby Doodle Doo some more baby toys. Here were my favorites:

A Pull toy of a monkey playing a drum.

I also liked the bouncing Siberian Tiger.

And the Frogs on the Seesaw pull toy.
