I'm slowly, but surely returning back to normal. I was able to work from home all day yesterday and caught up on some projects that I promised I'd complete during the holiday. I still have a few hours of work to do -- so I'll be getting up early for the next few days and squeeze it in before Little Zo Peep gets up each day.
My babysitter has the same cold I have. Gosh, she and I were a sorry sight this week. Both feeling miserable but plowing through with our responsibilities. She's much more of a trooper than I am, though -- one of those "Good" sick people I talked about earlier last week.
I keep expecting Zo Peep to come down with this cold too, but so far (knock wood) her amazing immune system seems to have the upper hand. She has had 3 mini bouts in the last few days when she gets very quiet, then lethargic and then her temperature will spike to a little over 100. I give her some Motrin. She sleeps. And when she awakes, she is back to her old self. I'm amazed how she can fight off sickness. I don't recall being so resilient to sickness when I was a kid.

I know that this is going to sound like I'm such a Scrooge -- but I'm probably going to take down all of my Christmas decorations this weekend. I want to get all of this holiday stuff out of the way so that I can concentrate on my BIG China trip. I'll be leaving in a little over 2 weeks and I still need to finalize all of the childcare arrangements , pack my bags, and finalize plan
for things at work.

After all of this wait, it seems like I should have had all of this stuff done by now -- but I don't. I have a big TO DO List to complete and not a whole lot of time to get it all done.
So I'll be in a little bit of a Pressure Cooker for the next couple weeks. as I complete these final details. Oh well, I always work well under Pressure, though. So here's my opportunity to do that just one more time.
