In an earlier post, I mentioned that Little Zo Peep was VERY anxious to lose her baby teeth just like her kindergarten classmates. She was having me check her teeth every night and morn to find a wobbler.
During the flurry of activity surrounding the referral of Libby Doodle Doo, I shirked my teeth inspection duty. I resumed it on Thursday and -- lo and behold -- her Lower Central Incisor is noticeably loose.
Zo Peep is ecstatic. I -- not so much.
She is eating apples like they are going out of style. She's playing with the tooth with her tongue and her fingers. She's checking developments in the mirror every 10 minutes.

I'm being a little sentimental about the inevitable demise of Miss Lower Central Incisor. I was lucky enough to adopt Zo Peep before she was teething -- so I was allowed to witness those development milestones first-hand. I was there when Miss Lower Central Incisor first erupted. We've been fast friends since 2003. I've fed her, brushed her, flossed her and was bitten by her.
So here a shot when Lower Central Incisor first made an appearance.

And one of her last performances.
Goodbye, my old friend
