This Is The Week. . .

My agency promised that we'll have confirmed travel dates this week -- by Wednesday at the latest. I can't wait to have this information finally locked down.

So I'm just holding my breath waiting for these dates. But I'm not the only one. Once I get final dates I can get airline tickets for my sister who will be travelling with me. She needs to travel from Texas to Pennsylvania to depart from my airport. Another sister who is watching Little Zo Peep when I am in China is also awaiting these dates so she can plan her work travel for the month of January. Finally 3 people on my team at work are awaiting final dates so that we can plan who will handle my work projects during the time that I'm gone in China and after my return when I take some time off.

So there are at least 5 people besides me who are anxiously awaiting my travel information this week.

I thought about how there are 27 other families who are travelling with me. If each family is like me and has 5 additional people who are on hold until this final information comes in -- over 200 people are holding their breath awaiting final confirmation on our travel.

Staggering. Well, Sunday and Monday are history. Only 2 days (at the max) to go!!
