A Quickee Post

Hi everyone. I'm starting to recover from the devastating news on Tuesday. I realize that this additional delay in getting Libby Doodle Doo will become a blip of nothingness in the entire scheme of our lives together. I need to keep concentrating on the BIG Picture.

I'm trying to keep busy. I'm focusing on Little Zo Peep (she lost her first tooth yesterday -- more on that in my next posting). I'm going to Deck the Halls to the MAX for Christmas this year. And work is Crazy busy. Also I'm going to try to do a few things to deal directly with this delay:

1. Even though I feel badly about the delay -- others in my travel group (especially first time parents) are having a particularly bad time. I want to comfort those individuals as much as possible.

2. We were encouraged by my agency NOT to send Care Packages to our daughter's at their orphanages. I'm going to do it anyhow. If the package gets to them, I'm going to include some disposable cameras to get photos of Libby Doodle Doo during the next 6 weeks + before I get to meet her. It is one way to feel closer to her.

3. I still have LOTS of nesting and preparations to do. I now have the time to do them right and not slap stuff together in a haphazard way. I'm going to spruce up Zo Peep's and Libby Doodle Doo's room a little -- New window treatments, bedding, etc. Let's say its feathering the nest for my little Chicks.
